Quality & Safety
The Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
The CQC monitors, inspects and regulates services like Talking Change to make sure we meet fundamental standards of quality and safety, below which care must never fall. The CQC publish what they find, including performance ratings to help you choose care, and they encourage services to improve.
Talking Change is provided by Solent NHS Trust. The latest inspection by the CQC determined the rating for mental health services, and the overall rating for Solent NHS Trust, as both ‘Good’. We welcome the recommendations made by the CQC, and our service users, to help us continuously improve our care.
